Wink has spent some time in Bucharest, Romania. I caught up with him and we spoke about an interesting “project” he began. He began in 2025, took a “small” break from steel to focus on this idea. Read up…
[WINK]:When I was passing by on a train, I noticed a new wall near the approach to Bucharestβs main railway station, Gara de Nord. I was inspired by its color scheme. There were barely any graffiti pieces on it at the time, so I came up with the concept of turning it into my own hall of fame spot.
I started stamping pieces one after another, using different fills but keeping everything within the same style. The locals were pretty surprised, since most people donβt like painting the same spot repeatedly. But for me, it was a personal challenge.
At this stage, weβve got a conceptual long stretch of wall with pieces lined up in a row, all consistent in style but executed in different color palettes, right on the approach to Romaniaβs main railway station.
